Charles Brand’s “Lagan Clean-Up”

Charles Brand work on the £17M Belfast Tidal Flood Alleviation Project continues apace in Belfast City Centre.

Giving something back to the local community is a key part of our social value strategy at the £17M Belfast Tidal Flood Alleviation Scheme and it was all hands to the pump at our recent litter pick.

Starting at St. George’s Harbour and working south towards Lanyon Place, our team cleared the tow path area of litter and rubbish to help improve the area for locals and wildlife. The event, organised by HSEQ Co-Ordinator, Keith Gillespie, was a terrific success and Keith has similar events planned in the near future.
