EPIC 100km Cycle to Work

On Thursday 1st August 2024, a small team from Charles Brand undertook the 100km commute from Coleraine to our Rosemount House HQ, in Belfast.

The Team, including our Managing Director Niall McGill, Andy Bate our Sustainability Manager and Tony O’Neill from the Wellness Hub, cycled the 100km to raise money and awareness of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Right now, more than 3 million people are living with cancer in the UK. By 2030 this figure will rise to 4 million.

Macmillan strives to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, by providing physical, financial, and emotional support. Almost 98% of their work is funded by donations. They raise money to provide vital cancer services, research, and campaign to improve cancer care and support the cancer workforce. Unfortunately recently some if us have witnessed first hand the work that they do, which really is amazing.
