Making Welfare & Wellbeing Support Visible, In Sight, On Site with the Lighthouse Charity

The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families, providing a wide range of free and widely available pro-active resources to support the industry.

In 2022, the charity was able to help over 3600 construction families and deliver £1,505,000 of charitable services to the construction community.

Justin and Dale from the Lighthouse #MakeItVisible Team delivered an informal and engaging ‘Toolbox Talk’, sharing their first-hand life experiences, focusing on the importance of mental health and wellbeing and the excellent range of support services available through the charity.

The sessions were delivered in our Wellbeing Hub, a bespoke facility for all our employees with state-of-the-art gym equipment, daily fitness classes with our health partner Versofit, including circuits, weights and yoga, and space for group events.  To date, over 20% of our employees have completed Mental Health First Aider training through Mental Health First Aid NI.
