Fibrus Project Stratum Northern Ireland

Project Stratum was developed to improve broadband connectivity to 85,000 premises across NI, primarily in rural areas and was predominantly Government funded.

Charles Brand were responsible for delivering full fibre broadband to 57,300 premises across NI, with up to 110 crews deployed at any given time. Close and regular liaison with Key stakeholders including DFI roads, local Councils, utility providers and landowners was vital to the success of the Project.

  • 940km of tree trimming cut
  • 3397km of OH cabling

James leads all pre-construction activity including Business Development, Supply Chain Engagement, Preparation of PQQs, Tenders and Managing Multi-Disciplinary Teams.  A graduate of the Queens University of Belfast, James is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, specialising in infrastructure and marine engineering.
